The Programme

Programme Overview

T27 Cricket Training is a structured 27-week program specifically designed to deliver results and bridge the gap between training and match scenarios. It focuses on rapidly boosting cricketers’ confidence, emotional intelligence, and tactical thinking through 27 dynamic, high-energy games. While we recommend introducing one new game each week, our game filter system also allows players and coaches to easily find the ideal game for addressing specific skill challenges you or your players may be facing.


Structure

  • Duration: 27 weeks consisting of 27 training games. 
  • Sessions: Each training game runs for 60-90 minutes.
  • Format: These are team and small-group training games (2-6 participants per net/training lane).

 

Key Components

  1. T = Transition:
    • Traditional training environments are often too comfortable and non-simulative, leading to cricketers struggling to transition effectively to match situations. T27 addresses this by creating scenarios that challenge players’ problem-solving skills and prepare them for the pressures and challenges of real games.
  2. 27 = 27 Supercharged Training Games:
    • The program features 27 unique, high-energy, and exhilarating training games. These sessions are tailored to teams and small groups and are guaranteed to be the most enjoyable and effective cricket training experience in the nets.
  3. Mental Skills Development:
    • The experiences that players acquire during T27 cricket training assist with developing essential skills like stress management, concentration, and emotional regulation, crucial for peak performance on and off the field.
  4. Tactical Proficiency:
    • Each session enhances players’ tactical knowledge, empowering them to devise and execute effective game strategies, even under high-pressure situations.
  5. Bridging the Gap:
    • T27 is specifically designed to bridge the gap between training and match environments. By simulating real-game scenarios, it helps players become familiar with game-day emotions and challenges, leading to more consistent and confident performances.

 

Implementation

  • Games : To maximise productivity we encourage players and coaches to play a T27 game every week and if possible to play the same game twice within that week. We provide all of the information needed including short video clips demonstrating how to deliver each T27 training game and how to maximise productivity and enjoyment.
  • Easy Access:  It is effortless to implement the programme using our user-friendly platform, ensuring players and coaches can deliver high-quality, structured training sessions.
  • Adaptability: T27 is flexible and suitable for individual players, coaches, clubs and schools of all sizes, making it a versatile solution for cricket programmes worldwide. T27 Cricket Training is suited to players aged 11 years and above who have some previous experience playing cricket. Please note adults and professional players love and benefit enormously from T27 Cricket Training also.
